About Dance with Hope Studio
Our Philosophy
We believe that dance is more than just movement to music. It is a form of expression, a way to communicate, and a means to connect with others. Our philosophy is centered around the following principles:
Creativity: We believe that dance is a form of art, and that every student has the potential to create something beautiful and unique. We encourage our students to explore their own ideas and develop their own style, while also providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.
Technical excellence: We believe that proper technique and form are essential to executing dance moves correctly and safely. We prioritize the development of strong technical skills in our students, while also encouraging them to experiment and push their boundaries.
Positive environment: We believe that a positive and supportive environment is essential to helping our students grow and thrive. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks, and where teachers provide constructive feedback in a supportive manner.
Inclusivity: We believe that dance is for everyone, regardless of background, ability, or experience. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where all students feel valued and supported, and where diversity is celebrated and embraced.
Lifelong learning: We believe that dance is a lifelong journey of growth and discovery. We encourage our students to approach dance with a growth mindset, to set goals and work towards them, and to continue learning and improving even after they leave our studio.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that dance is a powerful form of expression that can enrich and transform lives. We are committed to providing a high-quality dance education that prioritizes creativity, technical excellence, positivity, inclusivity, and lifelong learning.

Rhiannon Greer is the owner and Director of Dance with Hope Studio. She has been dancing for 24 years, and instructing dance classes for 13 years. Before opening the studio, she danced and taught for Yvonne DeKay School of Dance. She spent some time with the Morehead State University dance minor program, then received a professional job with Carnival Cruise Line as a "dancer who sings."
